How It All Began
A small group of community members have a dream to make Grotons Annual Tree Lighting into a community wide Christmas celebration where community members of all ages can come together to celebrate our sweet small town, support its local businesses and welcome the spirit of Christmas!
This December, volunteers, local businesses, and town organizations have come together to make the festival happen. From handcrafted wreaths to gingerbread masterpieces, the festival celebrates the creativity and generosity that make Groton such a special place to call home.
The festival is free and open to everyone — because the holidays are for the whole community.
